Brancepeth Castle - Winter Craft Fair

Since 1987, Brancepeth Castle Craft Fairs have been held twice each year: the last Friday to Sunday in July, and the last Friday to Sunday in November.

Acclaimed as one of the best organised Craft Fairs in the North-East, the crafts on offer are all selected for quality and diversity with an emphasis on real craft work. The person standing behind the stall will have made or designed the good. The majority of the stalls are indoors in the lovely ground floor rooms of the castle, other stalls exhibit in the grassy courtyard which is a delightful place for relaxing in good weather.

Goods on offer and would love to tell you about their work, so do ask them! The fair is organised and staffed by the owners of the castle which brings an unusual personal touch to the event. We hope you enjoy the beauty of this medieval castle…
