Service Description
Ready to take your glass fusing skills further? This Double Curve Workshop is perfect for those looking to deepen their understanding of the fusing process and explore the technique of slumping. In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to cut glass with confidence and create a stunning freestanding curved piece. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into how glass behaves in the kiln, how slumping molds are used, and how to design with shape and structure in mind. Ideal for beginners ready to level up or returning makers wanting to try something new. Approximate size of the freestanding piece is 9cm x 23cm P&P of your finished piece to your home is included as you will be unable to take your glasswork home on the day due to the firing process. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided (please let me know of any dietary requirements or allergies before the class) this workshop should last approximately 1.5 - 2 hours. Please attend the class in appropriate clothing and footwear i.e. no open toe shoes. Long sleeve tops are advised but not a necessity. All other personal protective equipment will be provided as required. The maximum class size is for 6 people, if you would like to enquire about a larger group booking, please contact me. Suitable for children over 10, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult
Cancellation Policy
Bookings are confirmed once full payment is received. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended. If you need to cancel, please provide at least 14 days' notice for a full refund or to reschedule. Cancellations made less than 14 days before the workshop are non-refundable, but we’ll do our best to offer a reschedule if possible. No-shows are non-refundable. In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or reschedule a workshop (e.g., due to illness or unforeseen circumstances), you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date.
